Combined with EGF, it supports regeneration, accelerates skin renewal processes and stimulates the production of new cells. Nano-calcium hydroxyapatite restores the skin’s structure and density, strengthening its internal architecture. Glucosyl Naringin neutralises free radicals, providing anti-inflammatory and brightening benefits. The serum effectively smooths wrinkles, improves firmness and visibly rejuvenates the complexion. Apply the serum as part of your evening skincare routine. Massage into cleansed skin on the face, neck and décolleté, then leave to absorb. Introduce gradually. In the first few weeks, apply the serum only 2-3 times a week. Over time, you can increase the frequency of application.

The retinal encapsulation technology uses biomimetic phospholipid micelles based on hydrated lecithin, which form stable nanostructures with amphiphilic architecture. The hydrophobic core of the micelles (lipid tails) promotes the incorporation of lipophilic retinal molecules, while the hydrophilic shell allows the system to remain in stable dispersion in an aqueous environment. Due to the limited stability of retinal in classic formulations, micellar technology is a justified approach to its delivery while maintaining high skin compatibility. The biomimetic similarity of lecithin phospholipids to the building blocks of the hydrolipid barrier may promote the integration of nanostructures with skin structures and the deposition of the active substance within the epidermis. The presence of stable nanostructures and their size (on average approx. 50 nm) have been confirmed by transmission electron microscopy (TEM).

The 0.2% serum is intended for advanced retinoid users. We recommend it only if your skin already has a high tolerance – for example, you’ve been using 0.06% or a prescription retinoid comfortably – and you’re seeking maximum anti-ageing results. 0.2% retinal is a very potent treatment: it can significantly smooth wrinkles, firm and thicken the skin, and accelerate cell renewal. Thanks to a carefully designed formula (retinal encapsulated in lecithin, plus EGF, glucosyl naringin, and calcium hydroxyapatite), this high strength is surprisingly well-tolerated; however, we advise it only for skin that’s been “trained” on milder retinoids to avoid irritation
Introduce the highest strength very slowly and cautiously. Even if you used 0.06% every night, with 0.2% you should begin with one application per week. For example, use it just once in week 1, then twice in week 2 (with several days off in between). If everything looks good, in week 3 try every other night. Only after about a month, with no major irritation, might you use it nightly. On the off-nights, give your skin extra TLC – apply a rich, repairing moisturiser to help it recover. And as always with retinoids, use a broad-spectrum SPF 50 every morning – this is especially crucial with such a strong treatment.
Despite its strength, ETERNA FORTE is engineered to minimise irritation as much as possible. Firstly, the 0.2% retinal is encapsulated in lecithin microspheres, which ensures a slow, controlled release rather than a sudden dose on the skin. Secondly, the serum includes soothing and supportive ingredients: EGF to speed up skin repair, glucosyl naringin as a powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory (to reduce redness), and nano calcium hydroxyapatite to reinforce skin structure and act as a buffer for retinal delivery. Thanks to this advanced formula, 0.2% can deliver maximum anti-ageing benefits with surprisingly good tolerability. Of course, everyone’s skin is different – if you do experience excessive irritation, use it less often and keep your skin moisturised and calm between applications.
The 0.2% serum offers the most dramatic results of the ETERNA line. Initial improvements (smoother, brighter skin) can often be seen after about 4–6 weeks of consistent use. Deeper changes like reduction in more pronounced wrinkles and significant fading of dark spots usually become visible around the 3-month mark – with regular use, skin firmness improves and lines diminish as collagen builds up. You can use 0.2% all year round, provided you protect your skin from the sun meticulously. The idea that you must stop retinoids in summer is a myth – dermatologists confirm that with proper UV protection, you can continue treatment 12 months a year . The crucial part is daily sunscreen and avoiding excessive sun exposure. In summer, consider a few tweaks: if you’re spending lots of time outdoors, you might reduce the frequency of 0.2% applications (for example, use it 2 nights a week instead of every night) or switch to a lower strength temporarily . And never apply retinal on sunburned or very sun-sensitive days. Overall, though, sticking with retinal year-round – coupled with vigilant SPF use – will give you the best, long-term anti-ageing results, as you’re not pausing the benefits.
